Hull

Single skin hull using hybrid glass/Kevlar polyester laminate. 

White gelcoat hull. 

Single blue sheer stripe. 

Double blue waterline stripes.

 A high proportion of the fibers are unidirectional for extra strength. 

A synthetic surface mat is applied after the gel coat for increased resistance against water penetration. 

Stiffeners are laid up over foam cores and are reinforced with unidirectional glass fiber.

Structural bulkheads laminated to the hull, most of which are of marine grade waterproof plywood.  

Fin keel with bulb made of lead with antimony. 

Stainless-steel high tensile keel bolts cast into keel. 

Spade rudder made of glass fiber with foam core. 

S-glass/epoxy composite rudder stock.

DECK

Glass fiber sandwich construction using low density closed-cell PVC foam core, with high density foam inserts and aluminum back up plates under deck fitting.

MAIN SALOON

Located aft of the forward cabin and forward head. Straight settee to P and S. Pilot bunk outboard of P settee. Padeyes for lee cloths. Dining table on centerline with folding leaves P and S and storage in center. Lockers and shelving outboard of S settee. 

NAVIGATION STATION
