Offers are strongly encouraged as the owner's new larger yacht has been delivered.
Make no mistake, CYGNUS MONTANUS II is in spectacular condition. Set up for short-handed sailing, it is hard to imagine a better specified and better kept Swan 77.
CYGNUS MONTANUS II is hull #8 and hence one of the last Swan 77s built. The captain was also the project manager during construction and he has remained with CYGNUS MONTANUS II ever since, maintaining her with enormous pride and passion and to the highest level one could ever possibly imagine.
At the time of build some significant optional upgrades were added including a carbon mast, carbon boom with in-boom furling and shallow draft keel. There was also a transom extension added to CYGNUS MONTANUS making her 82' length overall. The long list of additional upgrades are described below.
This is the first time CYGNUS MONTANUS II has been available on the brokerage market. In general she has been used between 4 and 6 weeks each year as she has cruised around the world by her owner and his family and friends. This Swan 77 has never been chartered, although she would make a fine charter yacht, and CYGNUS MONTANUS II has never raced aside from some casual club type events.
