CYNOSURE

Built by the famed Hodgdon Brothers Boat Yard (now Hodgdon Yachts) in East Boothbay, Maine, CYNOSURE is hull #4 of 5 boats built. Massively constructed in solid fiberglass, these timeless yachts are comfortable, ocean-going, no-nonsense boats capable of traveling the world. With her shallow draft (5’6”), full keel and ketch rig, CYNOSURE has a very soft and easy motion at sea while allowing her to sneak into shallow anchorages, including the Intercoastal Waterway.

The present owners purchased CYNOSURE in 2012 on the west coast. They lived aboard until 2015 when they departed San Francisco, transited the Panama Canal, and arrived in Florida. Since then, they have migrated up and down the east coast a few times between Maine and Florida.

CYNOSURE has been well maintained, and among many other upgrades, there was fresh Awlgrip deck paint in 2018, Awlgrip hull paint in 2020, new sails in 2018, bow thruster added in 2019 and a new generator installed in 2022.
